An excellent cattery where the staff genuinely love cats. Tried elsewhere before and it felt like they had too many cats and couldn't care for them properly. Here my cat has his own clean space and is well cared. Highly recommended.

As a really anxious cat owner, i've always been hesitant and felt guilty about leaving my cat anywhere but Kosseted Kat have been amazing at looking after him! We've been using them for a few years now and could not be happier. My cat always comes home bright and happy.

We thought very carefully before leaving this review, as Kosseted Kat have been excellent in the past, however I feel it needs to be done just so other owners are aware. We used Kosseted Kat multiple times, and in the beginning, couldn’t fault them. Good availability, happy looking cats overall, reasonable price, text updates on request (staff depending) etc. We felt safe leaving our boy there and he always came back fine. However, over time, things started to feel odd. One time our cat was there, he returned with some sort of flea/worm treatment on his neck, which when politely questioned, we were met with quite a defensive and abrupt response from the cattery owner completely denying it, as well as critically telling us how we should be caring for him. Strike two for us was on arrival, we picked him up, and Penny (owner) had scruffed our cat as he was tricky to get back into his carrier. This is by no means acceptable under any circumstances to handle a cat this way. Strike three. We picked him up from a different staff member, and as we left we were approached by the owner who frantically told us how good he had been and how quiet and calm he had been the whole time. It felt odd and a little suspicious. We left not thinking too much into it, but once home our boy couldn’t settle. His tail was drooping and he was very vocal. He then went days without urinating, and thousands of pounds and trauma from the vets later, he was diagnosed with a tail pulling injury and a trauma response as a result. Vets were certain this was sustained over the weekend (when he was at the cattery). We contacted the owner to let them know and to cancel our future bookings, to again, be met with defensive messages even though we hadn’t stated the details or even implied it happened under their care. Due to our cat having been scruffed in the past by staff, we understandably didn’t doubt that he could’ve sustained this type of injury in their care. Please be mindful before leaving your cat in a cattery, and go with your gut if things feel off. It’s not worth your cat’s health and wellbeing.

Highly recommend! Staff are absolutely wonderful and experienced. My cat had to board for an extended period of time before traveling overseas and I felt at ease leaving her in their care. Thank you to the staff for keeping us updated on our cat and giving her lots of love and care while she was staying with you!

We have used Kossitted for 10 years now. It's reliable really friendly. Cats are well looked after in great areas for them to be really comfortable. Highly recommended by us.

Our cats came back after 17 days healthy, clean and bright. The accommodations are bigger than most with a fairly large outside area for the cats. Very pleased with the service. One point to note, they don't take card payments, either cash up front, bank transfer or cheque, they will provide the details for the bank transfer.

We have been taking our cat, Amber, to Kosseted Kat since she was 2 years old...she’s now 17! We use the cattery at least three times per year. We cannot fault the care, love and attention Penny and the team give to our cat. It gives us piece of mind while we are away knowing she is safe, happy and comfortable. Booking is easy, we normally booking using SMS/text and Penny always responses quickly confirming the booking. We would not hesitate in recommending Kosseted Kat to any cat owners. Best cattery I have ever used, they are so thorough asking about your cats, their medical, diet, emergency contacts. Wonderful. Replied to all my text messages throughout the week and even kindly sent me a photo of my kitties on request. Will 100% use again!
